It is estimated that one in seven women will be affected by breast cancer in her lifetime and breast cancer affects the entire family, not just the patient. Each year, the Ellie Fund’s “Dish & Deliver” Nutrition Program plans, prepares and delivers healthy restaurant quality meals free of charge to thousands of breast cancer patients and family members across Massachusetts. The meals are tailored to each family’s needs, prepared by Wellesley Service League volunteers at Healthy Habits Kitchen in Wellesley, MA and delivered to the homes of the patients.
