In their own words: Cauzoom! is not just a website for non-profits. The company and its team became our partner during our month-long fundraising project last summer. Cauzoom set us up for success for the get-go and helped keep the momentum going all the way until the project was funded. We can’t wait to work with Cauzoom! again. -Alex
We were lucky enough to have Top Banana Education Foundation as one of the first organizations to use the Cauzoom platform. Top Banana’s top banana is Alex Seriy and providing afterschool math tutoring for kiddos is the easy part for him. He combines his passion for teaching with the secrets of his trade as a Computer Scientist and software engineer (whoa!) to realize his life-long dream of educating children. Alex is methodical and calculated and might I say, BRILLIANT so when he launched his project on Cauzoom he made sure he had a plan. That plan: share the crap outta this thing.
Over the course of 30 days Alex and his gang of math moms, dads and supporters were able to raise enough cash to buy desks for their growing classrooms. The funds Top Banana raised came from the purchase of gift cards to Whole Foods, in fact 100% of the funds raised came from purchases. Alex told us about how excited his supporters were to be able to buy a gift card in order to support the project.
What made this project so great was how enthusiastic Alex was. Each week he emailed Top Banana supporters to let them know how the project was progressing and reminding them that they need to hit their goal. A strong quarterback and a math whiz! Needless to say, Alex rocks!
